Street Photography in Yëngi’östeng. A village bazaar with the Nikon ZF.
On my second and only full day in Kashgar I asked my guide to avoid the local tourist hot spots and opt for a more “authentic” experience. He initially looked a bit puzzled, but ultimately did not disappoint. We headed towards the outskirts of town to a nearby village called Yëngi’östeng. I was promptly dropped off at the local bazaar – a street photography paradise.
I spent hours exploring the market stalls and got some of my favorite shots of the year. What a great ending to my Kashgar visit.
