Playing with Light. Street Photography with the Nikon ZF.
After the previous week of Street Photography in Zoumu Street, I decided to go back to the area – the nearby Temple of the Five Immortals. I arrived at the temple around mid-day, again, and brought along a zoom lens and my favorite 40mm prime.
The road near the temple was busy as I expected, but the temple itself was a bit underwhelming. The mid-day light hitting the stairs on the site of the temple made for some interesting photos. A young lady wearing traditional Chinese dress was parading around the temple courtyard and I decided to snap off a few shots.
I had a great time this week as well. I think I will do more shoots around mid-day when the harsh light allows for interesting contrast in the photos I take.
